BLOD is usually a APU problem, if it’s the APU it can’t be fixed permanently.

EDIT: Hard drive failure was likely contributing to this, among other symptoms. Swap out your hard drive and restore from OS file saved on to USB drive from PS website. After swapping out the hard drive for T3hreekings here, he has not had any issues.

Hey my PS4 has the blue light of death on it and it lets me go to safe mode but I did all options and it did nothing

You guys might need to replace the hard drive and reinitialize the ps4 using a system restore file (find on the PlayStation website) that ended up being the real fix for my home T3hreeKings here.

When i turn on my ps4 it only shows Playstation logo then Black screen and i can go to Safe Mode but I don't know what to do

I’m assuming you held the button for 7 seconds until you hear the second beep? If not I’m pretty sure it’s your hard drive.

I think you can try a different way to reset. If you google it they will show you how to do it.

@@T3hreeKings yes when I turn it on all it does is blink and if I try to put it in safe mode all it does is beep for a second time then turns off

It glows blue then when u try to put it in safe mode it just gives u the cannot find storage device 😤 im stuck on that currently so if there is a easy fix i could use some of your tricks

My ps4 just blinks blue the shows just ps4 sign then it goes dark no blue screen

@@dezeyytxd3372 try holding the power button for the 3 seconds and try the change resolution. You might have to wait for up to 5 mins. If this doesn’t work then it most likely is a bad hard drive.

I have the blue light of death i can hear my ps4 working cause of my headset i can hear the playstation voice but it doesnt give me an input on my tv idk if its the ps4 or the hdmi

Try to switch the hdmi. That might work. If not check the hdmi in the back of the PlayStation. Have you tried looking at the rest mode menu.

Really? That’s very strange. Have you left it unplugged for like 15 mins? So my buddy just swapped out my hard drive for mine and did a system software update. We will see how it handles that today. You’ve tried holding the button for like 7 seconds to get a second beep?

@@Jared08Rocky so to make a long story short I did this trick once and then it worked for like a week and a half. Went right back to its old ways of not starting up properly. So did the “change resolution” step and still worked but for a day or so. Took it to my buddy and it turns out that my internal hard drive was done. It was operating oddly. He did a quick swap out with a very cheap internal hard drive. Worked like a charm. You do have to make sure that all the games you want and save data is on the online saved data storage.
