In ancient Egypt, wormwood was commonly used as a remedy, an aromatic substance, and an additive to wine (cf. Vitis vinifera). Perhaps with a blue lily flower and mugwort combination in the wine, divine ecstasy is evoked.

worm wood, like bella donna, enlarges the pupils and makes the rods and cones at the back of the eyes more sensitive to light. There are some you tube videos of time lapse photography of the milky way viewed at between 41 and 43 defrees south east, as in the myth of jesus and the three wise men of the Orion belt. I just drank the blue lotus tea about a half an hour before watching this. It's really not as potent as seen in the video. One has to realise, that they gave them wine (alcohol) with lotus soaked in it overnight. Just about an hour after, they gave them flowers to eat. They've used too much that day. If I was to do this experiment, I'd have them drink the tea first day, eat the plant second day, smoke it third day, and drink lotus-infused wine the fourth day and I would try to record the differences. The flavour is also not as sour as they describe it, I think their wine was too potent with lotus. With the tea, it tastes good, it smells like a flower like a plant and the tea does have a bit sour taste but so does the green tea, black tea and coffee too and we still enjoy them, right? So the sour taste is the first and as you swallow it you get a floral after taste. You don't get high or anything. Your body just relaxes a bit and you feel less worried or sad (if you did before). And that's about it. It's not like weed or anything else. It's really just a mild subtle thing.

WoW. I didn't realize that. People in power haven't tried using the "paralyzing" cells or the killing cells of the water lilies for clinical nefarious purposes? I ask that bc I've now seen where our high officials etc have done that extensively with snake venom as well as shellfish. There is a whistleblower who said as she was asked about looking for a substance that left no traces of death by TOXIN. One that would for all purposes appear as a heart attack. Shellfish toxin or maybe particular shellfish has a toxin stronger than the venom of the king 🐍 cobra. Well it is also common knowledge to those in the field and for curious truth seekers that now they have been successfully making the organoids that make the toxins. Extracting enough from the animals was timely and slow also low in quantity. No problem bc it's way past the year they successfully mastered the manufacturing process in labs. Actually I feel certain there's a lot of professionals like pharmacists etc who realize this bc they've been using some toxins for decades in common medicines such as that made to treat diabetes and so much more. But experimenting minds can go evil. (Who'd of thought) I disagree with all the experimenting using people's stem cells and aborted fetuses etc. Look where we are now? We have secrets untold within our high levels of rule. They admit cancer cures have been available for decades but instead they poison us slowly with chemo and radiation. A notable head doctor who was also part of the elite few "in the know" gave a speech in 1969 telling a large group of other doctors some of the intents and changes that would be coming in the future. Well in 1969 they likely doubted most of the speech but one pediatrician who was privilege to hear the restricted speech became a Christian man in later years. He recorded as much of the "top level info" 20 years later in 1989. That's still 33 years before today so a total of 53 years . I feel like leaving my comment to grab those names for you but I'll lose my place here. The pediatrician doctor wrote down his notes in his head after the speech because it was restricted to do any sort of recording during. When he heard it in 69 he knew nothing of the Bible nor things predicted in Revelations as he said in the retelling he felt compelled to leave for those of us today. My concern is drugs are passed out now, yet help for veterans and cancer etc is not. There have been plans of genocide in the works since Satan rebelled against God.

Hi Lisa! Very good question I also asked. I've been having thoughts... I think in part not isolating the unknown first could have "ruined" the crescendo effect of storytelling, or the plot line to this. It also made me wonder about generating advertising revenue potential in creating a "story" per se. Also though, taking a subjective approach, allowing for a venture into the ancient world, in letting it be anecdotal, experiential, and first hand allowing the subjects to take the viewers on a journey too. There is a beauty to that approach lending to the effect of "journey", the effect of an unknown lying on the horizon creates a kind of drama. I try to do that with my music and writing. They might be excited to create such a drama as that's what I think often draws new scientists into whatever direction they choose to take. Storytelling structure is also ancient and very powerful, opening a door for non-scientists like myself, the mainstream. Still though like you suggest, isolating the unknown or active ingredient should have definitely been a part of this -- yet I wonder too to what degree that would have negated the story or journey effect. Just my amateur view, my two cents worth ha!

Anything you buy online is NOT the real flower the Egyptians used. When alive, it is a very pale blue, and when dried almost white with just a hint of light blue. The real flower is rare and hard to grow, and not very ornamental, so no one grows it for commercial purposes. The other flowers in the family also have psychoactive effects, but not as much as the real one. Anything that you are buying that is dark blue or purple is not the real thing. 6:38 Anyone else notice the lotus on the heads of these people and then think of the phrases we have today like "acid head, pot head, meth head, and UNDER the influence?" I know thousands of years have passed and it's totally different cultures, but some things (like the acts in these works) is universal, then I think a lot of other ideas can be as welll. I also think that is a perfect depiction to show that someone is under the influence, as flowers could never really float above your head during these activities and while there is room for debate as to what the plants are used for in the other works, this one, I think, is the best proof it was used to induce euphoria.
@lilkingspade3 жыл бұрын
So you're saying the depictions of the lotus on their heads, and lotus and Lilly flowers grow much the same way, and they got high off the Lilly, that it has the same representation as say, a modern person wearing a hat with pot leafs on it, to signify being a pot head? That is actually a very intriguing thought to ponder. I had thought the flower was placed on there heads to imply being under it's influence. But maybe that's why we refer to someone an xyz head in the first place I think you very well may be onto something there.

I was shocked to see such major social scientists not be driven to first, "isolate the unknown", as they say in chemistry, or identify the active ingredient first to at least have an idea of dosage levels, types of side effects both positive and negative. I also wondered why then they didn't have a "control group", although with governments in mind, that might have nixed the whole idea of at least quietly trying it on two healthy and willing individuals. I'm only very amateur when it comes to Egyptology, a very fascinating subject. I never knew about the blue lily so present in their pictographs and carvings. It makes me wonder why this wasn't considered over a century ago. I think they opened a major door into Egyptology. Thanks very much for making this video. The most powerful Lilly is the 'Orange Lilly'. The Orange Lilly is exclusive to the region of Belfast Northern Ireland and flowers in the month of July each year. The Orange Lilly, just like the blue lilly of ancient Egypt, is in full bloom over a 3 day period. The Orange Lilly is best ready to be bucked (i mean plucked) on the 11th & 12th July. It is also "fully open" on the 13th July although by this stage you may not enjoy the full benefits of the Orange Lilly as on the 13th July it can be slightly wilted/tired/weary/hungover from the exertions of the previous 2 days. Unlike the blue lilly, the Orange Lilly does not take nutrients from H20 but instead should only be fed Harp Lager or Carlsberg Special Brew to encourage it to open up fully for the 3 days. The Orange Lilly is beautiful, exiting and should best be experienced in its homeland of Ulster rather than being taken out of its native environment to a foreign land where it may prude in isolation. The Orange Lilly needs to be situated and grown around other Orange Lillys. Whilst almost unique to its species, when its almost ready to bloom the Orange Lilly gives off auditory signals to other Orange Lillys. The sounds also help to encourage copulation from the male of the species (King Billy Lilly). Auditory emanations can be heard which very much sound like "Up King Billy!!" and "Eeeyyyooo, Eeeyyyooo, Eeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyooo!!!" and "No Surrender!!!!". These are beautiful sounds and have to be experienced to be believed. The Orange Lilly. For God & Ulster.

Interesting conveyance of customs. Around my neck if the woods, Irish ancestors brought over tiger lilies after the advent of the revolutionary War. Specifically first and second potatoes famine . I thought it interesting what you said about not taking the orange lily out of Ireland. Over 200 years ago this was accomplished . They now grow everywhere around old foundations and along roadsides for a couple of hundred years of spreading if you will. Your not supposed to dig them up to move them and are looked at as a good omen for lily and irises return .
@michaeldavis1462 жыл бұрын
I believe if you check Greek , tiger lily is associated with being the daughter of Uriel and Iris being Apollo's daughter. These flowers actually represent women with the Fluer DeLure being the purple Iris .

Iris gave the virus ( covid through introduction of covid into tulips . The variegated or flaming ones) to the tulip in the 1600's in Europe. Tulip wars . Same virus, mutated, same Iris aka Sirius.

It has been properly analysed and studied since this film and it turns out that it's not very hallucinogenic at all. Alan (I believe it is his name), the "denyer", needs to take a good trip on the Blue Lily at least once. That would help him to let go of all his inhibitions... on all levels of his being.... and from the observer's vantage point, I'd say "by God, he dearly needs it!" There are so many scenes on ancient Egyptian walls in temples and tombs that clearly show how important this Lily was to them. And definitely, not just as a pretty flower on the coffee table!

Perhaps. But to a certain extent I think every era or cult believes that about their newly found medicine. We thought that about amphetamine and cocaine back in the days, Chinese thought that about their opioum. So we can easily fall into the trap of one stimulant replacing the other. My recommendation would instead to try I real strong hallucinogenic once a year. that's all you need. Than stay more or less sober. This probably doesn't work for every kind of illness.

I can't imagine the Egyptians not using Blue Water Lilly properties to relieve suffering, and pain in and out of surgeries, as well as recreational toxicology. The Egyptians had surgical instruments called trepan's that they used to drill holes in the skull. They would drill (trepanning) a series of holes and lift off that plate to expose the cranial cavity to treat everything from brain tumors to relieve intercranial pressure from chariot and/or battle accidents. They were amazingly advanced for a civilization that is more than 3000 years old.

LoL - they didn't learn this on their own. Their hieroglyphs clearly show spaceships, aliens with elongated skulls and misshapen eyes that arrived to teach the cavemen skills in mathematics, medicine, building (which apparently failed bc every "pyramid" after the Valley of the Kings was a total disaster of piled failures that barely resemble the Geomancy alignment, the earth axis to Polaris alignment, the 6t stones laser cut to hairwidth precision and the hallways that have no sconce / torch burns on the wall and couldn't have accommodated that many men/oxen to carry the stones inside the already built pyramid. May I recommend Dolores Cannon and her books on past life regressions? 5 lives remembered is a good start, life between deaths, keepers of the garden and starcrash would answer many questions.

I'm glad they had a garden to wander in, but they should have provided them pleasant couches with cushions to recline on, lyre or harp and pan pipes in the distance- in case they wanted to dance, and platters of delectable and juicy fruits ( grapes, figs, strawberries) to see if that sensuality was heightened. A set of colored pens and paper in case they wanted to draw, or write poetry would have been nice. These scientists seemed stuffy and didn't create a very sensually stimulating environment that they could ask them about later- like what the experience of a succulent fruit or a graceful expressive bit of dance felt like. They should do it again in a less fill in these boxes correctly analytical way.

I am inclined to point out, when the ancients used psychoactive plants put into wine [= alcohol] it was seeped for a long time, not a few hours. The ancient Persian warriors would drink opiated wine to achieve a state where they were in an awake stupor, and felt not the wounds incured during fighting, till death. [I forgot when, maybe against Alexander] And the Vikings known for going 'berserk' when fighting, are postulated by some researchers as having taken the mushroom 'Muscaria Amanita' together w/ alcohol, which made them go berserk. The Egyptian Priests would have had a supply, and known the effects of the Blue Lilly aged into the wine. I'm surprised the researchers forgot this. A good study nonetheless 👍

KZbin, as with the original person who started it, had no ads. He sold the site and I think it was then the ads started in. I wonder if that then started "click baiting" as more viewers then means more effected by the ads and more money to be made thus pseudo videos with dishonest titles, anything to get more clicks, which I think means more money for the click baiters, thus I sense a decline for KZbin. All my amateur view. On the other hand perhaps with advertising revenue better quality videos could be made, yet also fee oriented videos came into the scene where so much cannot be seen without memberships or paying fees. Also I don't remember before the importance of attracting subscribers. So constant requests to "please click subscribe"... something to be had with that too that didn't, as I recall, exist before. There is also the question... "Is KZbin thus better than it was before?" My answer is definitely no, yet again only my amateur view. I think there was an ad every 6 minutes with this doc, and have seen even greater frequencies before, and also these ads had twice or greater volume, as in the old days of television broadcasting that caused me at age 14 in 1968 to quit watching television. It was the actual mindlessness of commercial television that drove me away too - shareholder economics at work, just like with healthcare, the prison system, public education... etc.
