That also shows a lot in his play style, he is an instinctual dribbler and doesn't think things through carefully. Only doing things that his instincts and random ideas tell him to do. Those crazy plays of his wouldn't have worked if he wasn't around great players as we can see in his back story when he made a terrible pass to his teammate.
