although I liked this video and as a kaeya stan myself I can't help but find irritating when people put all the blame on diluc, they both acted withtin their rights and heavily influenced by their weak mental state at the time, bbut still the blame isn't just of one of the two
@bianccabiason502315 күн бұрын
Sorry, but the blame definitely leans more toward Diluc. Of course, I am not disregarding that both of them made mistakes and acted on their emotions, making decisions they regret (or maybe they don’t, who knows). But the way I see the whole story is that Kaeya was literally abandoned as a child to be a supposed spy, and he did not even get the chance to agree to it. He was a kid when his father put him in that role, so of course he went along with it because his father was the only person in his world at the time. Then comes Diluc and his father, finding and adopting Kaeya. The two of them became Kaeya’s entire world. He even forgot about being a spy and only remembered it when their father died. Sure, Kaeya chose a terrible moment to tell Diluc the truth, but that did not justify Diluc taking out his anger about the Fatui, who killed their father, on Kaeya, as if Kaeya were responsible for Crepus’ death. Not to mention disowning Kaeya from the family. Instead of offering or seeking support from Kaeya, who was also in a vulnerable moment because Crepus was a father figure to him too, Diluc just vanished for three years to go on a killing spree in another nation, targeting Fatui who had nothing to do with Crepus’ death. Instead of cherishing the time he had with the only family he still had left, even if they were not related by blood, he chose to abandon Kaeya.

@bianccabiason5023 The fatui had nothing to do with crepus death?? They absolutely did. The attack from ursa was instigated by a fatui device, utsa who, at the time, was one of dottores property. Crepus who, to fight it off, used a delusion, not the classic ones you see in-game but an experimental one who had a huge backlash, now how he died isn't specified as in dilucs characters story and voice lines he never speaks directly, but in the official manga kaeya stated that diluc killed him, so either he died from the backlash of the delusion or was injured that badly that he had diluc put him out of his misery. Plus you can't expect a person who just witnessed his own father die right in front of his eyes, to take well being told that his only family left is a spy, especially the day after the knights of favonius betrayed him by deciding to cover up the whole ursa incident. And it's not like diluc had all of that happy childhood either, in my opinion, I mean, can you imagine putting the pressure of the title of calvary Captain to a 14 year old?? Not to talk about the added weight of being the heir of a prestigious winery and a noble
@what.is.wrong.with.everyone15 күн бұрын
Because yes, calvary captain at 14 but that mean he'd been a Knight, someone who's protects the city and fights risking their lives, for a few years now, since 8 years old I believe actually, because he was already part of them before getting his vision at 10

@bianccabiason5023 and diluc did not attack kaeya as if blaming his of crepus death but due to his emotional turmoil, his last family member left who tells him he's a spy from another country, I too would feel my world crumbling and have my doubts about the others intentions all along, because from all diluc knew kaeya could've been a spy willingly
@bianccabiason502315 күн бұрын
@@what.is.wrong.with.everyone You are right, he does not blame Kaeya for Crepus’ death. However, because Kaeya chose that exact moment to reveal the truth, Diluc unconsciously found a target to vent his anger, even if that target had nothing to do with the cause of his rage. And about the Fatui not being responsible for Crepus’ death, that makes no sense. Crepus died because of one of Dottore’s clones, and Dottore is fully aware of everything his clones do. The fact that he allowed his clones and other lower-ranking Fatui to kill Crepus, directly or indirectly, makes it clear who is responsible. Also, the fact that Diluc went to Snezhnaya and massacred a bunch of Fatui to the point of literally being banned from there proves that, yes, Diluc believes the Fatui are to blame for his father’s death. And by the way, I never said Diluc had a perfect childhood. Of course, I believe becoming the captain of the cavalry at 14 must have put a lot of pressure on him. Just like having to bear the burden of being a spy at 7 to 10 years old must have been a massive trauma for Kaeya. Understand that I am not invalidating anyone’s trauma. I am simply giving my opinion on how each of them reacted to their respective traumas.
