There was a blue lock movie released a few months before the season 2, which had decent animation better than season 1 tbh. Ofc, it wasn't a masterpiece, but it was enough where it actually made almost everyone believe that season 2 would excel in animation.... Boy, either they used the entire animation budget for that movie or they freaking trolled us

Ive been reading the manga with the anime OST, and to be honest is the best way to consume this franchise, and that is sad. ALso if the chapter of manga has an anime counterpart, you put the audio and follow the dialogue and its great.. I have an isagi tattoo im sad

@@pavelover well i mean, other than 10 episodes, the animation was decent and the fx were masterful, the music was beautiful, and the sfx was incredible. personally, for me, the insane animation for a "few" minutes adds up with the other times there was sick animation.(for example, the shidou goals, that one time when chigiri ran, etc.)

Imma be honest idk what I’m watching but the last 5 episodes the animation seemed to improve they didn’t have to have chigiri actually running or shidou big bang drive or his other goal the episode b4 hell even the episode wit rin and his big brother was good . Now by episode 14 they’ll be done wit the u 20 thing . Hopefully 8bit refuels themselves and charges and has better animation all through next time not sometimes

Which is mostly their fault imo for taking on more than they could reasonably deliver. This ended up biting them in the ass as they produced on of the worst anime adaptations compared to the source material known to man
