Blue Marsh Tuesday Night Tournament Number Five!

I was just at Blue Marsh for the first time on Monday. I'm a kayak fisherman, and I took my big yak for the stability because I know it's a no motor restriction lake. Launched in the no wake area at the paddle launch at Peacock Road on purpose. Had 2 boats go past me at different times faster than the one in this video and thought I was going to get bounced out of the yak. After the second one I gave up on getting any further. I turned around and fished my way back to the cove with the creek and launch. I was about ready to cross this lake off unless/until I get a boat, but some friends have convinced me to try it again.

I had the same thing happen to me . Took video of it got the boat and registration number showed it to the fish warden all he said is what do you want me to do. Told him do your job so he did.He checked me for safety and license .I was pissed . We had words and I left . I subbed to your channel,

Bm should be a 20 hp lake or whole lake --no wake, try fishing up near the entrance on a Tuesday evening and listen to the roar, and yes, I was fishing and the waves from 50 TM boats all most sank me, sure I was in the open lake, so I do not fish Tuesdays anymore. I respect the bass TM guys, but remember this, you are responsible for your wake, good fishing to all.

I fish those Tuesday nighters and I try my best to stay a good distance away from others fishing. There's always a few though that don't care about others. Especially pleasure boaters and a few jet skiers. Tight lines friend.

I have actually said to people you know this is the no wake zone and people are trying to fish right? I may as well add I fish on a ten foot row boat and can’t complete with the ocean liners those idiots bring onto blue marsh
