Nice review. Visited Memphis 3-4 weeks ago and took the tour at Blue Note. Was able to buy a backup bottle of the Blue Note Special Reserve Cask Series from 2023 that they had left. Picked up the Honey Cask Rye and Honey Cask Bourbon at liquor stores in Memphis. Like them both. 🥃

Never drink finished whiskey/bourbon, it is not my thing. Alot of people do so to each their own. CHEERS 🥃

$65? Highway robbery. But they are following the trend set by the likes of Widow Jane Decadence finished in maple aged barrels that hit..like $90? Grand larceny i tell ya! 😂 Take a decent $20-30 bottle and stir in your favorite maple syrup or some honey from a teddy bear squeeze bottle and tell me it's not just as if not more satisfying than paying through the nose for these (lets call it like it is) flavored whiskies? Try it. I have. And a shelfer Elijah Craig with some maple syrup added to your taste beats the pants off of these things. Cheers boys!

You really don’t like honey? That’s like not liking bacon which is crazy talk. I can see not wanting a finished bottle I’m not much of a fan of finished whiskey yes there are bottles I like but for the most part it’s a pass for me. Toasted bottles are better if not over done. But really oaky is way out. Nice review I’m a big rye drinker so I’d probably like this. Enjoy!! 🥃🥃🥃
