Blue October is 1-under appreciated 2- SO GOOD live in fact BETTER live! Their music is overproduced often! Check out Light you up, live!! Wow! Way better live! Yes I’m a huge fan and always have been but this is not bias speaking, it’s musical taste 😊🖤💙

It’s about having to leave his daughter behind each time he visited (custody battle). Here eyes go from glow (happy to be with him) to straight gray (realizing he has to leave again). Similar sentiment in “The Worry List” about trying to spend time with his daughter Blue and constantly being thwarted.

hes singing about losing his wife and his daughter in a divorce due to drug and alcahol addiction. He is now happpy and has his kids back today and sober for the first time.
