In 1969, so the legend goes, Apollo 11 traveled 238,000 miles out into space. How many miles up did Blue Origin's New Glenn Rocket go in 2025?

Congratulations on getting to orbit. I'm really looking forward to Blue Origin becoming another reliable launch company. I come for the technical aspects. The loud female narrator is too politically correct to be useful.

Seems underpowered compared to starship…very slow leaving the tower.

The numbers were weak if that is all it has. They had to go above their intended altitude of 100 miles then aim the rocket downhill to achieve orbital velocity. But at 100 miles whatever they place in orbit won't be there long.

Bezos has the money to have bought some "GoPros" and Starlink time to actually show what happened. Guess he didn't want anyone to see. Bezos!! If you're scared, say you're scared.

The Russians have been doing this for over 70 years now. When the booster becomes as reusable as an Amazon delivery truck then your on to something Jeff. This is just kinda meh. Very been there done that. Good luck to them in any case.

@@trungnc5487 Then you saw the booster land in one piece after putting the payload in orbit? That simply did not happen. You are quite mistaken if you think otherwise. It will take a few more years for that, so pack a lunch.

A great achievement but obviously many issues to solve, firstly to get a real commentator not a big turn off. Secondly, to resolve the getting lost of the booster, maybe add Starlink video to future launches and thirdly demonstrate relighting of stage two for multiple deployments. A good start but a way to go until Launch 2 in2028

Just another throw away rocket. No reusability, no cost savings, a failure. When you have 139 booster landings like Space-X, then you can say you have a successful space flight system.
