And we are speaking about settling up in mars? What a shame to us!!! To humans.. that we cant even make good engines so failure is reduced at 0.001% This is real shame.. We are not going to start settling mars in this century itseems

Lol people like you really don't seem to understand how hard aerospace engineering is. SpaceX has had its share of engine failures, so did the space shuttle. Only difference is they had more engines so it didn't cause a mission abort. Acting like this is all easy stuff just makes you sound like trolls

Fun fact, this was very clearly an engine fail. While ULA are waiting for BO to deliver engines to them that are extremely overdue. Yea, if I was Tory Bruno I would not exactly be calm right now.

@@AngryAlanski so YOU are saying that you are afraid that, in a powerless, neutered-state (the goal of many who complain about "taxes" and "state-funded scientific research", and the "waste" between them), you'd be more afraid of the environmental consequences of a few small-scale launches, because you admit that a frantic, unregulated corporate space will eventually erode the environment even further, exacerbating climate change for years to come, all in their un-checked search for "the next dollar/trend/news-hype"? Also, WTF does CERN have to do with the environment? If you're referring to micro-blackholes, *do your jriktuk math again, mundian*! It would take more energy than your planet can muster in a month (total output) crammed into a millisecond in order to even *possibly* produce a blackhole that wouldn't extinguish immediately from secondary radiation. And y'all can't hardly get yer shit together to provide basic, universal power (in y'all's case, electricity) to even small segments of your species... yet you think that CERN, an under-funded scientific project that *far* undershoots previous goals (for instance, the Bush Jr. proposed Texas Super-Collider - RIP) is somehow going to get allotted all of the planet's electricity output for a month, store it in an impossibly large capacitor, then risk everything to prove themselves right to the remaining ZERO HUMANS LEFT ON THIS PLANET that they were *somewhat* right about the prevailing model of physics? "You dumb, man. You a monkey." (-quote, "Da Boiz")
