My Blue Oyster Cult Playlist! • Blue Oyster Cult
In this Burnin' For You guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of this amazing song by the Blue Oyster Cult.
The tuning is standard tuning, E A D G B E.
Just like many of Blue Oyster Cult's songs, this one has a lot of great guitar work in it. From the opening harmony lines to the multiple solos and fills and great riffs, it will all be covered here.
I will go through each section of the song in the order that each appears on the original recording.
Many of the sections will have multiple guitar parts that work togethers. I will cover each of those when that occurs.
Buck Dharma's main solo is quite challenging but full of some very melodic lines that are a lot of fun to play.

Fun fact: Buck has _never_ reproduced the main solo or the outro fills live. When asked why in an interview, he kind of slid by the question, stating that "...it was a very good day in the studio, I couldn't play anything wrong that day.." Definitely gives me a "wtf?" kinda pause.
