This show was my very first rock concert. I saw this show in Jacksonville Florida, April 1978. They had a laser show that blew everyone away along with their performance. Angel opened...Never forget it.

BOC were the quiticential diverse sophisticated hard rock band but occasionally would throw you an anthemic party song like Cities, Godzilla. Marshall Plan & R.U. ready to Rock which was no doubt written as a show opener for the Spectres tour!

BÖC is one of my favourite bands and certainly the most influencial on my work as a composer / musician. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqbCoWStl8Z2l5o

@@jb-yi4di Thank you Jeff. It's still my favourite song we did with Rudee. I love the others too but this one has a special thing. We will release a new song in 2 or 3 weeks (this week or beginning of the next should be a cover of INXS) and this new song will be our heaviest to this day. Can't wait to complete it.

Did Bloom know how to play anything but barre chords?
@williamsherman10895 жыл бұрын
Doesn't matter muso, B.O.C. was a band not one person. And they rocked.
@tennesseeridgerunner59925 жыл бұрын
@@williamsherman1089 Yes they rocked. That's why I'm here because of that fact. As far as Bloom playing barre chords only, it was just an observation. Secondly, I never inferred that because Bloom seemingly played only barre chords that it somehow affected their ability to kick ass. Never thought it mattered much either, obviously it didn't, well that's not true. I think IMO, that B.O.C's live sound would have been beefier had Eric played a more consistent rhythm guitar.
@tennesseeridgerunner59925 жыл бұрын
That's what I'm hollerin'! As bad ass as they were live, it coulda sounded, as you said-"beefier"if Eric had indeed been more consistent. Was something I always wondered because it always seemed to me that Eric sat about half the song out in his playin'. Anything more than simple barre chords and he just held the guitar. This in no way dampens my enthusiasm for B.O.C's music, just something I have always been curious about.

I could be wrong, but I think it was their tour manager, Steve Schenkman. It's better than not having the footage at all.
