Good reaction! BP did fix a couple of issues since I made the video, but still a long ways away.. We can only hope they keep trying to improve the game.

When he was saying how announcing games more than two years in advanced, should be illegal, Star Citizen, and Ashes of Creation instantly popped into my mind. Personally, if companies want to announce they are working on a game years in advanced, that's seems like a dumb idea to me, as most people will have likely lost interest by the time it is released, but I see no reason to outlaw it, although where I do draw the line is asking for money from the end customer well in advanced. To me, if you ask for money for a game, and it isn't fully launched in 30 days of that time, twice the money should be sent back to people. The Star Citizen, and Ashes of Creation situation, and those like it, should never be allowed, like for various other things, there needs to be customer protection laws to protect idiots from themselves for such things. Governments have slowly been trying to roll out laws, and such to address such issues, but again, it's slow, and they haven't gone far enough.

I'm with you on MMO's being announced early. Marketing these days are so out of touch. They announce it so early into the build of the game knowing its not even close to being ready. Then eventually the fan base starts to lose interest more and more, feeling pressure that their game is going to die before they even release it, they do a alpha test and that's when everything goes to shit. bugs after bugs and no content killing off their game even faster. So yes I agree.

I feel you entirely. I played the japan version of the game and it was fun progressing but once you hit a certain point you see there’s nothing ahead, just grind the same mobs over and over and spam your abilities with no thought process in group content. It’s a big shame, I am not even a girl who’s really into anime but I loved the aesthetics, the atmosphere and the creative direction. Such a shame it’s wasted on a skeleton of a game.

This is gonna be a different type of comment but ima just be bold, I feel like some of y’all are overreacting when it comes to blue protocol. I honestly feel like once the game goes global everyone is going to get on the game regardless of them saying they’re not since they’re “taking too long” for a lot of you. Months ago y’all were hyped as heck & had a lot of fun playing the game on Japanese servers but now since Japan region locked it & is forcing y’all to wait for global I feel like y’all are just taking your anger out on them knowing damn well y’all still gonna play🤷🏾‍♂️

One thing to note about that, is that apparently, MMO is something of a taboo label for games in Japan. Take a look at official statements about this, and Phatasy Star Online 2, by the Japanese devs, you won't find them saying anywhere that their games are MMOs, and if there is a FAQ, one of the questions will likely be if it is a MMO, with the answer being no, as they regard it as something else, Western publishers may say otherwise though. Meanwhile in the West, many keep trying to call pretty much every online game a MMO, some people are still trying to call Genshin a MMO, and that's pretty much a single player game, if you can even call it a game, that that's another issue. The markets in different regions, want different things. This is also why for instance many in the West dislike Korean online games so much, they were designed around Korean players, which tend to differ from many Western players, so while they may seem fine to a Korean, here, people tend to rant endlessly about how pay to win they are. Long, and short of it is that what many wanted it to be over here, was not what many wanted it to be over there in Japan. What the devs were trying to make, didn't seem to sit well with what people in Japan wanted, but maybe would have worked out better for a Western audience. Aside from that, there's all the bugs, which is another issue. Although a game failing in the home region, basically means it's dead everywhere, unless some other company picked up the IP. Tencent picked up the mobile rights, supposedly, so it may work out better as a mobile game, than as a PC game, or console game.

Cryy I remember you talking so highly of this game but since it’s at a struggling point, now all of a sudden you choose to follow the bandwagon to act like the game has no hope. The game still has devs working on its issues, still plans to release globally & still has a lot of stuff it can do to overcome whatever obstacles they’re facing. Idk why y’all are acting like this. i was one of, if not the only creator on youtube putting on heavily for this game years ago. many people had never heard of it until i started creating content on it. my passion and optimism for the game drove me to continue making content on it for years. lengthy videos with pages and pages of scripts and hundreds of hours of editing. this is no bandwagon, flip flop mood or hate train. this comes from a game being announced way too early and losing it's hype by taking too long to release. the ship is sailing as many of us have lost interest. the game has released in japan, hell yeah!! but seeing the lack of content, amount of issues etc. does not help the excitement of those who have been waiting 5 years. i'm all for remaining optimistic and dislike doomposting, but the reasons above are why i no longer care for this games global release. i do hope it does well, but i'm not as hopeful about it as i used to be. i'm glad to see someone is.
