I tie my trailing shuck much more sparce than you. I am sure it is what it looks like but I am wondering if you make it a full z-lon to help with floatation? I know the coastal deer hair will keep it afloat so I don't understand why the nymphal shuck is so thick. Can you explain? It is a great pattern and you said it fishes well. So I will tie a few like this but the nymphal shuck is too big for my liking. I am sure there is a reason. All the best, Sean
