Between 1989-1994. Blue Swat is the final Law Enforcement oriented Metal Hero series. Overall the show is a blend of American TV show such as S.W.A.T., the Hidden, and War of the Worlds(tv series). I do enjoy the gratuitous violence and drama that made this series memorable.

I definitely agree with you Bro...This series was really amazingly done ...even i ( not japanese guy) can sing the full opening & 1st verse of ending well...🤩...I only have half of the series with eng subbed 😭😢................The Gold Platinum Alien suit actor Guy (Seiji Takaiwa) was also in B-Fighter Kabuto (B-Fighter Genji).

Ha! 100% agree! It definitely stands on its own Vs all the opening theme songs in the metal hero series. One other thing about Blue Swat's music that always amused me was that one music track that was clearly inspired by the Back to the Future soundtrack.

Loving these videos, but I gotta offer one small issue/critique - the audio balance between your commentary and the episode clips is very off. The clips are fine, but your audio narration is very quiet - which can make for issues when I turn my volume up to better hear you and get blasted by the clip audio. I hope this is something you can tweak in future vids easily, and I look forward to learning more about these wonderful topics. Thanks for all your work!

Blue swat aired in my local television at evening time along with series like the x files and the like. And for whatever reason, its only stand out as being a little bit superheroic than the other crime drama series with alien, because at the core, thats what it is, at least the first half of the series. I didn’t have time afterwards so i’m missing out the later half of the series though

That's very cool that you had a chance to watch it on TV. Yeah, the first half of the series-especially the first 10 episodes or so-would fit in with the ambiance of a series like X-Files.
