I get as upset as Dennis does when I watch Dean Stockwell sing Roy orbison's in dreams. There are a few great lip syncing moments in movie history but this must be number 1. Great idea for any movie, just get your movie rights before you shoot.... don't know how many times I have wtached this sequence but only now just heard Has Dennis lee Hopper really left us? director: David Lynch

Compelling, disturbing, and engaging, answering a lot of audience questions and providing many more UNanswered questions, all in less than 3 minutes - you just watched a fine example of when everyone involved is firing on all cylinders: writing, direction, lighting, sound, scene layout, editing, and, last but not least, acting. When Lynch is good he's on fire.
