It's been a long time coming, but here it is! The heartwarming story of young Pokémon Trainer Red following in his father's footsteps and finding a new best friend. (Sorry, Pikachu fans, but Charmander takes center-stage in this movie!)

For what it was aiming at, this is really fantastically done! The actors could use a little more experience but they portrayed their roles spectacularly! While some of the animation could use some work (particularly to make it look less cut-and-paste animation loops) they were really well done, and lightyears beyond what I can do with 3d animation. Beautiful work, giving the pokemon such life even with the simple animation loops! Keep it up, you guys!

Definitely can see the effort that went into the character models but just like when the original live action Sonic character debuted you can’t translate cartoon characters into real life with toooo much realism. Its just ends up looking creepy. My suggestion is change the eye shapes to more of its cartoon counterparts or animate them with visible eyelids to break up the round shape of the eyes a bit. The combination of large cartoony eyes with realistic proportionate features just doesn’t mix well. But good job other than that !

The video looks really good but some of the pokemon needs better designs like the starters and some hit the mark like caterpie and pidgey. Pokemon need voice overs and to be more energized, and their personalities just need to shine more. The CGI itself was pretty good though. The scenery was amazing and the acting wasn't bad. Overall, I really liked the video.

I have to say, I'm very impressed. The cinematography and presentation of this video is amazing (especially in the way you focused your shots). I'm also a big fan of the the little details you accounted for in compositing (reflections in the water, having the grass overlay the legs of your Pokémon, etc.) Those little things go a long way in helping you guys stand out. The animation towards the beginning could have been a little less floaty, but overall, you did a very nice job. It sounds like this was in the works for a very long time, so it must be great to finally get this thing out there. If you ever get another opportunity, I'd love to see more of this. :)

It started off nice but soon as he picked Charmander the quality drops significantly! Charmander and Squirtle look so lifeless and like they had down syndrome also I noticed some errors like when he said show me I challenge you! his hat was on backwards but then when he sends out Charmander it's straight... Also when Charmander got hit with a water gun his reaction was like "oh s***!... oh wait... this is what a shower feels like I've been avoiding this the whole time?"
