Hi not sure what do the reviews say? We found the hotel to be good and everyone that we spoke to was quite happy there. The thing that wasn't that great was the beach. We used to go to the lagoon which I've done a video of. The lagoon was nice. Hope that will help. Thanks for watching my video 👍

Chris1973 there is another pool located by the hotel block numbers 6 and 7 . That is about a 5 minute walk from the lobby but during our trip it was closed and all covered over for renovation . So unfortunately we didn’t get to see that pool.

Chris1973 it is a very big complex and every 15mins there a long train type buggy that goes around the complex so you can always hop on that to get to the beach pool if you don’t fancy the walk. Hope you have a great holiday there we really enjoyed it. We visited lots of great places while we were there. Hi, no you can just jump on and off the large buggy free of charge. Also no charge for a buggy that takes you when you have luggage to and from reception. However there were people going around the resort in small buggy’s that had VIP on them. There was a VIP part in the reception you could enquire about if you needed/ wanted the extra VIP service. Hello there just wondering for the a la carte menu/ restaurants, Are the food part of the booking or you would have to pay for individual dish? Also are the alcohol unlimited and part of the booking?

It is all included and part of your all inclusive booking. You don’t have to pay any extra for the meals and drink. Just make sure you book them in advance 1 or 2 days before you plan to eat there to make sure you can get in as they do get booked up 👍

I stayed November 21 to 29 The staff were amazing, kind , happy The safety with respect to Covid-19 was very professional I feel they all did a wonderful job Only issue is somewhere to get a snack off a grill would have been nice . How far is this hotel from the airport?

We got a coach to the hotel and from what I can remember it was about 1 hr 15 mins journey. I think you would get there in just under 1 hr in a private transfer but ours had a few drop off at different hotels so took a little bit longer but it wasn’t too bad. Thanks for watching.

From what I can remember I think the times were breakfast 7-10am lunch 12-3pm and dinner 7-9pm. Yes it was included with the booking. It was all inclusive for everyone. Thanks for watching 👍

Yes there is a bar either end of the pool, one as you go onto the beach and the other end by the buffet restaurant. Unfortunately we never got to see more than 10 minutes of the night time entertainment for adults as there is a 5 hour time difference for us and our little one would always be too tired to be able to see it. ive been to this resourt, its verry fun and beautiful. its kid friendly and the staff are really fun. The only downside was it was kind of dangerous. While we were sleeping, we heard someone screaming. When later found out one of the workers broke into someones room and tried to get into their safe.

Oh no that’s awful. I’m shocked someone would risk their job and that they would try to get in while the people where actually in the room! That’s very sad and tarnishes your view of the resort doesn’t it. Hope the people where ok.

How did you find the beach?

It wasn’t great to be honest. There was lots of Brocken shells and stones that where very sharp and painful to walk on in bear feet. The best beach we visited was playa Norte which was a day trip out that we did to the isles of Mujeres. I’ve done videos of it if you wanted to take a look. Thanks for watching 👍

It had the 2 big pools and 1 baby pool that are in my video by the beach. It did have another pool at the building block number 7 where are room was located but unfortunately that pool was closed off for refurbishment so we never got to see it.

I love your detailed explanations about the reosort! Is the $70 peso ride to the entrance per person or per family?

Thank you I hope it's helpful to you. The ride to the entrance is by taxi so the price is per family. So it will be $70 for the journey regardless of how many people are in the taxi. Be aware they don't like you to share a taxi with other holiday makers if the taxi people know you are not together on holiday. They said “it's not allowed “ when a couple tried to share with another couple who where waiting. It's a way of them making more money. Thanks for watching 👍

Glad you found my video useful. The mosquitoes where not too bad but they where there. I only got 2 bites while we were away but my other half got quite a lot of bites, they love him. I would suggest maybe at night just covering up. It’s only really walking around by the bushes and swamp land. Your ok once your at the buffet or bar ect. I've heard that the beach is the least impressive element of this resort. Also, did you happen to notice if there are frequent beach volleyball games going on? Cheers.

The beach was not great to be honest.if you just want to sit on a lounger it was fine but as you get close to the water the sand was very sharp with Brocken shells and coral. It was painful to walk on certain parts without shoes. I seen a couple of beach volleyball ball ( sand was fine there, it was only bad closer to the water) although there was water volleyball being played a lot more that I noticed. There is a lagoon if you walk along the beach. The water and the beach there is much nicer. Yes there was but it wasn’t to bad when we were there. As you walked along the beach some places would have quite a bit and other places would be clear. I heard it had been bad worse a couple of months earlier. There is a lagoon just along the beach from the hotel that you can walk to that has very clear water. You can see the seaweed but because of the current it doesn’t enter the lagoon. I did a video of the lagoon and you can see in my video a black line where all the seaweed gathers along the line of current. We preferred the lagoon to the beach, the sand was nicer there.
