Artistry in weathering; artistry in camera movement; artistry in the editing of vision and sound.

I use to drive class 33s back in the day and they were a good loco, punched well above there weight, put two together and they could handle 60 mph freight up to 2000 tons.

Took me right back to Southampton in the 80s, just needed some VEPS and REPS to make the illusion complete

This is just the most incredible, surely the most realistic one could get to going back in time, the details the loco sounds & also the ambient sound with birds & rail "Click clack" I could imagine nothing more realistic. I bet there are not many rivet counters writing ... & surely very well deserved. This video is my inspiration for my own feeble attempts. thank you so much for sharing this!

That’s really kind thanks for the generous comment. Thanks for noticing all the details too, it takes a lot of time to put together but I do enjoy weathering, filming and editing. Feedback like this is great encouragement 🙌

Brilliant Steve, another excellent video and superbly weathered Loco and stock I can't believe that you don't have more subscribers, especially considering that three of your videos have now topped 140k views.

Loco right speed, highly impressive weathering and uncluttered scenery, great photography and sound, this an absolute joy to watch and listen. Shadow from trees on white backdrop at 1:42 my only standout criticism. Appreciate difficult to control light. Very glad to have discovered your work.

Very nice. Is this your usual choice of a good prototype sound recording to overlay the video? Or is this the best in locomotive DCC sound system I have ever heard?
@dinmorejunctionmodelrailway2 жыл бұрын
one class of locomotive that I don't have a sound model. i need to pull my socks up and get a 33 sound file.
@johnd88922 жыл бұрын
The sound on this channel is mostly audio recordings overlayed on the vision and not the inadequate sound from even the best sound equipped locomotives. With the steam locomotives it is usually credited in the description but not here. That is my understanding.
