Hey Matt, I tried Sandmartin for the first time ever last week, had not much confidence, didn’t hold much hope, but had 25lb mirror at lunch time, then as I was packing up at 7:50pm left rod blasted off, it felt massive!!!!!! But snapped me of in around 3 seconds. Gutted!! Anyway to catch on my first session, and a 25 pounder, absolutely made up! Good luck and tight lines mate

Hello Matt, I know the feeling, when i first went there. Its a good size lake and not that many features in the water except the margins, Well done on your Mirror and shame you lost that chunk but clearly your tactics were working just fine so a massive confidence boost for you now. Keep up the good work Matt Mattius regard Matt :-)

Maff T UK cheers pal, it was only a day ticket too, so really didn’t hold a lot of hope! Have been back there today to try n get the biggun, but blanked!! Cheers for the compliments. What reels and lines are you using here mate and are you back leading? You local to Bluebell? Wouldn’t mind doing a session some time if you’re up for it? Matt

Yes I saw the carp Maff lol. We blanked last week on a 7 acre estate lake with possibly only 20 resident carp that seldom show themselves. Tough going with no night fishing allowed but a glorious location. The FishSpy looks great. Will have to look in to that Maff :)

20 Res carp on 7 acre's your sure going to earn one of those out of the water, but that's the whole point isn't it I guess. The fish spy is good but does have its limits and can be a bit touchy. but when its working fine you can edge your bets. tight lines Paul, regards Matt
