Bluebell Railway days out are great, they just are! I have been visiting the Bluebell Railway and enjoying their steam days for about 50 years as my dad used to take me for days out to visit the line.
In this video I have concentrated on a look at the 1890’s Metropolitan Railway’s Ashbury set of carriages as they formed most of the set out on the line today. I have included glimpses of Camelot and Loco 65 as well as other aspects around the Sheffield Park station area.
Over time things have changed, improved, been added to and extended. Each time I visit there is something new to look at.
A single day out is not enough time to see everything and so I will be back (of course) and add more videos later on. Next time I may well focus more on the Horsted Keynes Station area.
I hope you enjoy watching it and feel that you have tagged along with me during my visit.
