@@teyganmorris1964 i have no idea if you understood the term "no choice" by now...but i wanted to explain the way i understand this...while it has lot of explanation mine is this.... Cas chose Dean when it was heaven or dean (5th season) and castiel chose Dean again when Crowley told him to kill Dean (6th), chose Dean again when he didn't want to fight but couldn't let Dean hurt in the killing of Dick Roman(7th), chose Dean when Naomi asked to chose between him and heaven(8th), chose Dean between angel(the army) and Dean (9th)... I think you get the point...even when CAS didn't have a choice he chose Dean again and again....between his family or anything against Dean....the answer will always be Dean....and you know CAS is supposed to be good solider without much emotions but he keeps choosing Dean...it came to the point he said "i betrayed my family(Winchesters) and let two of my men (the Angels) die...you shouldn't trust me"... So yeah he's pretty fallen.....

Castiel's breathing was getting shallow, Dean knew he wouldn't make it. Tears were streaming down both their faces. Castiel's from the pain from the wound, Dean's from the loss of Cas. Castiel's body was leaning against Dean's, Dean had his arms around Cas, as if he could protect him from death. "Sing for me" he said. "I have always wanted to hear you sing" through his shallowed breaths. " I will love you blue bird. In the dusk when the sun goes down" Dean sang. Pain echoing from his words. " I will love you..." Dean was sobbing now, Cas was breathing more and more shallowly now. Castiel took a deep breath " I will love you as I die" he sang, and closed his eyes. Exhaling once and for all. Realising Cas was now dead, Dean leaned down and kissed his forehead, then kissed Cas' lips. The only thing saperated them was Sam who aid it was time to go and bury Cas.
