It’s tough to plan ahead as the precipitation seems to vary most years. Usually February is unusually dry but this year it’s been great and January was no good. Generally I’d say March before it gets busy or Jan after the New Years madness

Just hoping for something similar & only heard good things about Whistler. Just got to convince my wife of it next then will start making plans end of the summer. Appreciate your reply. How long does it take to get from bottom to top on the lift?

From base to peak you have to take 2-3 lifts, it probably takes about 35 minutes
