In 1968, I was drafted into the freakin' US war machine; my very first purchases in AIT were 'Buffalo Springfield' & 'Last Time Around', both of which I listened to like there was no tomorrow. But thankfully, tomorrow came! 43 years later, I finally saw & heard Buffalo Springfield at Shoreline! Thanx guys for a fantastic concert!!!

Who could have ever imagined hearing these songs everbeing done again by these guys. Credit is given to The Eagles for being the first cross overs to country, but it was the Byrds, Springfield and Poco who beat them to it. What an event to witness. Thanks for being there and posting this.

I watched this 20 times and I could watch it another 200 and still think it's fantastic!

@pbyardh Very true. Kind of curious who credits the Eagles, with being the first (or best) anything? Byrds, Springfield and Poco were organic gourmet cooking, and the Eagles were fast food, maybe Taco Bell, if even that interesting.

@pocolova Thank u so much for posting. Have watched countless times. Couldn't get out west for the shows. Peace. Have always thought Neil & Stills should do a reality show together. They're great together on and off the stage.

I was there the next night. It seemed smother then. Great show. The first time that they played publicly as Buffalo Springfield since 1968.

Damn, that guitar of Stills' is so sweet sounding. Waited 40+ years for this reunion! Will they tour? Bruce Palmer's passed on. I think Dewey Martin is not in condition to play. Messina could sit in!

Listen at the very beginning of the video, someone is tuning their low e to d.Then at the end of the song at 6 mins. and 20 secs you can see and hear Neil tuning his low string back to e from d.Maybe the whole band didn't tune to d, but someone had to,to get that low open d drone.

Buffalo Springfield is the balls. End of story. But holy shit, I wouldn't have recognized Stills if he were not on stage with a guitar in his hand. I mean if he were at the mall and I walked by him, I don't think I would have known it was him. Getting old sucks ass.

@fatdogtavern I always identified with Stephan the most, but he could've taken better care of himself. Even he admits that now.
