Forgot sleeping bag in Winter on the Six Foot Track

How do you forget to pack a sleeping bag for a freezing winter hike? These are the adventures of Blue Boy and his mate "The Orange Stairmaster" on the 50 km Six Foot Track in Blue Mountains, Sydney Australia. On the first night one of them discovered to their HORROR that they had somehow forgotten to pack their sleeping bag!! Cue sinister danger music, and with the night forcast for 5C we thought we would be ok, but it got down to a much colder -2C. What were we going to do to get out of this one!
