Replace the guy on the kit with a metronome. He keeps getting out of time and adds nothing to the actual groove. Other than that, super clean sound from the rest of the percussion line. Very tight.

They trust the drummers to be so confident and independent, that they are loose like this. If he feels like it should be then of course they would let him! He's clean, and he will do whatever he wants that's allowed.
