wait so how does this process work? Do they give you the music when you get a callback?

Yep! The staff will give everyone who has gotten a callback a show excerpt piece usually a month or two in advance to prepare for camp! The piece is used to determine if we're capable of playing the music.

@@jacobsingson12_ If you don’t mind me asking, what is the usual timeline? When are the first auditions and when is the call back camp? And also did you do a video audition? I’m looking to audition this winter for the 2025 Bloopit 🫣

I did do a video audition, actually both my 2023 & 2024 Audition Videos are up on my channel. The 2025 Audition dates will be posted soon on the Bluecoats website. I suggest joining the waitlist by submitting your contact info to bluecoats.com/join. The audition camps occur between September and November I believe, I wouldn’t know exactly since I always do a video audition, but I suggest keeping an eye on the Bluecoats website. After all of that, the staff will send out emails to people who receive a callback before the end of December. The callback camps usually take place on a weekend mid-December. @@jacobsingson12_ I am very eager to join bloopit, do I need to reserve a spot AND submit a virtual submission, how does that process work? Also will I have a better chance of getting in if I was to go to more than one audition camp? like for example I pay to go to both the Ohio one and the Georgia one or does it not matter. also, if you could also educate me on the pricing of tuition and if there is payment plans etc. I just bought a 5 octave marimba and its gotten my funds pretty low.
