Born there, went to East End Elementary, and the one shown, left for Florida 1964, and have never been back, hope to visit some day, before I run out of road. Great video that brought back many forgotten childhood memories. Thanks for the post

Spent a couple of summers at Big Daddy's & Big Momma's house in the late 60's and early 70s. Loved shoveling the cole in the furnace in the winter as a little fellow. Every relative I visited would feed me, so that's why I cook for people that visit my home. I dream about the cold mornings, a bed with heavy quilts and the sound of the train coming down the mountain....😌

Hometown of my dog Otis, who was rescued from Bluefield after being found in a box on chuch steps there with his brother and sister. He has a happy life in Pennsylvania now.

You are very blessed to be from bluefield my relative was from bluefield his name was Charlie Terry he passed away many years ago we used to go every single year when I was growing up I haven't been back since the late '80s I miss it very much I hope to get back there very soon hopefully hope you are having a great day and God bless you

@@janiefalzon7670 the town went through some changes Over the years but not many since the 1980’s in was born in 2005 and from That year the only new thing is Ryan’s shutters down and there is a gym now in it’s still place and aLot of Mercer mall stores left the only Big ones are roses and jcpennys
