Fun Fact: with the charter companies I worked for, their deckhands used tip money (which was their only pay) to pay people (me) to hand wash every drop of blood from the boat so it looks brand new for the next group the next day. Every drop of blood has to be gone and there can be no scales anywhere. It has to look clean enough for squimish types to feel clean on it. Hard job....but not as hard as being a deckhand.

@evilpandakillabzonattkoccu48795 жыл бұрын
@@luckycraftdave1065 those men and women are hard working people! Awe inspiring, especially once you try it. My old man took me charter fishing when I was a teen and I was so impressed with their customer service and their hard work that it stuck with me and my dad....then, my dad, well into his late 50's (keeping in mind that my dad has had 6 back surgeries, last one being a fusion....and hernia repair and had most of his colon and intestine removed due to diverticulitis at that point) decided to be a deckhand for a few seasons on a salmon and bottomfishing charter boat. Just.....wow, what an amazing dude! So, I would often wash his boat for free just because....Goddamn did he earn it. Those dudes are hard workers! They inspired me to teach myself and become and professional reel and rod repairman, which I did using nothing but library books, my dads old reels and a magnet (to fish for all the parts I kept dropping hahaha). So, yes: *_All deckhands, you have may respect_* (its the only group of workers I tip on principle) ......a TMI/TL;DR thing buuuut (fair warning) Coincidently, he is getting his neck fused in a month and this weekend will likely be the last fishing trip he and I ever have together. Hard to even type that without becoming a little bitch about it haha breaks my heart. No sympathy wanted...life is like that....just hard to watch a fisherman's last cast.

Well thats a first. So I'm guessing the deckhand, Captain, and multiple passengers were in out this too? My angle was down because it was strapped to my chest. The least of my concern was to get the right angle when fighting the fish of my life. But you will believe what you want. Happy fishing
