Hey Gabe fun fact that bush with the little orange fruit is called "Serosi" it's good in detoxing your body, cleans out your system but it's bitter. Pick it leave it to dry and then boil it. It grows right around Jamaica 🇯🇲

Great vid. Btw gabe just in case you guys didn’t know… That plant your mom was talking about is called yeskin or aseosi in French Creole. I’m from Haiti and it’s one of the best teas you can drink to build up your immune system. It’s extremely potent but really good for you. It can also rid of all traces of drugs in your bloodstream such as marijuana. The watered down versions sold in stores don’t do as good and they charge a lot for. Just a Tip!

Tomalley (from the Carib word tumale, meaning a sauce of lobster liver), crab fat, or lobster paste is the soft, green substance found in the body cavity of lobsters, that fulfills the functions of both the liver and the pancreas. ... Particularly when eating steamed or boiled crabs, it is considered a delicacy. Yeah Blue I’m not so sure about that delicacy thing either. Ask Luke what he thinks.

Those vines your Mom was pulling is a type of bitter melon, those you pulled are very bitter but the oriental variety which grow quite large are less bitter, both the melon and leaves are eatable.

That vine is called Cerasee here in the Caribbean Islands. It’s boiled as a tea for cleansing your blood and other stuff. If you get the orange pod before it pops, you can open it and eat the flesh off the tiny seeds. But yes the vine can be annoying so don’t spit the seeds on the ground.

That red stuff does appear more in the lobsters that you catch in Florida in the main lobsters we catch up in the Northeast. Also when you boil the flavor of that red line gets pulled out into the water but the texture also alters enough to give a little bit more of a spring feeling. But I’ve done what you do and you’re 100% right it taste better without it if you cook it the way you cook it without boiling. Have a great week be well be you

Noticing how the wire reinforcing mesh in your old drive way was on the bottom of the slab. I was at World of Concrete show in Vegas/Lost Wages, one year, and the lecturer showed a picture of a roll of that mesh on the trash pile. That's where it belongs he said. It always ends up on top of the slab, or in the gravel. I had figured that one out many years before. The thick sheets of it, or rebar, on blocks or now they have wire chairs, works far better.
