I’m 60 years old man and I love casting for crappies and bluegills from the bank used live minnows and live night crawler and live cricket as baits sometimes I use brush pile jigs 2” soft plastic baits. 🤙

We’re primarily using the 7’ Sam Heaton spinning rod paired with the Shimano Sahara 500 Reel. Line is 6lb Trilene Sensation monofilament

I'd recommend B'n'M Sam Heaton 7-foot spinning rod with a Shimano Sahara 500. Spool it with some good 6lb mono line. You'll have a blast with that combo!
