Thank you. We WVU fans believe Darian DeVries is the best coaching hire made in college basketball in the last several years. Our winning record is only partly due to the quality of our players. The biggest reason is the strategic game-planning by DeVries.

While WVU won this match up it doesn't mean Iowa at is overrated cause they aren't. They are a very good and well coached team. WVU is also better than many thought. This was a great game very competitive and a blast to watch these 2 teams play

I think Iowa State fans that paid attention to college basketball 30 minutes south on I-35 the past few seasons are not surprised at the kind of job Coach Devries is doing at WVU. Quality coach that gets and utilizes quality talent

Give WV props, atmosphere, poor shooting are to much to overcome on the road. WV played like I expected, ISU did not.

ISU is a great team. They didn’t hit on all cylinders tonight. When hitting their shots, they are as good as anyone in the country. They’ll correct and be a scary team in March if they get hot at the right time

WVU was fortunate that the whole ISU teams shooting was off or it would probably have been a different outcome. Both coaches are a class act. ISU is a very physical aggressive team which will/has won many games for them. I’m glad we don’t play them again
