Why is it so hard for him to say Nicco won us the game. That was the best game by a WV QB in like 3 or 4 years. 18/22, essentially 200 yards, 2 TD, 0 interceptions. We do not win that game with GG. I love Garrett but Nicco just proved he is the better player and who deserves that starting spot. Yet Neal refuses to say that Nicco had a great day and won us the game

If you want to contribute to the “Neal Brown Charity for Nice Guys,” that’s your choice. But fans who invest their money have every right to express their frustration with the past six years, just as much as you have the right to support him for simply being a “great guy.” Sure, he wants to win, but at this point, all he’s won is a golden ticket of a job with a major safety net. In my opinion after 6 years, he should’ve established a program that could compete for a big 12 title COMPETITIVELY. 6 years and the program is worse than he obtained it in. I agree he is a great dude and all he talks about is making the state of West Virginia proud. With that being said WVU needs a rough dog like coach that represents its blue collar people. I agree Neil Brown is a class act. But he has no edge to him. He’s not going to get guys to run through a wall for him. I could tell you that right now.

WVU ran a good coach out of town, and we got a dud to replace him. Bobby Bowden got ran out of town. We all know his legacy. Curt Cignetti Sr. took his place. He was a dud. I think Brown should stay and get a new defensive coordinator. Offensively they do pretty good but that defensive secondary sucks.

So to all of those who insisted that the money you collected for the flying banner that did not work out, instead of donating that money to the WVU Children’s Hospital or even Animal Friends or the Humane Society. Why was it necessary to waste money and hang billboards in Morgantown to humiliate Neal Brown AND his family. His kids may get bullied in school which would be horrible. His wife probably doesn’t want to even leave the house from feeling like people are snickering behind her back. Your job was to try to take Neal Brown down but instead you have shown a side of WVU that sickens me. Our sports is what brings in revenue to our city. Who would want to coach here knowing if they don’t have a perfect year they will be persecuted. I could go on and on about the embarrassment and humility I feel for the Brown family. You haters should have stayed in your huddle and battered each other rather than disgrace our town and weaken our future sports. I wish you would have thought first. So many people are hurt over this. I may be disgruntled with Neal Brown’s coaching, but now I hope he stays. I hope this unnecessary hate will not defeat him. I pray he and his family can forgive and know there are a lot of us who have their backs.
