Very enjoyable! look for some bluegrass fiddle! the harmonica and fiddle occupy the same musical space as cross harp ( usually playing A fifth off.) additionally I found a bluegrass ensemble at a local community college that I have thoroughly enjoyed. We meet once a week and play a couple of concerts a year. it's a lovely excuse to get up early on a Saturday and play.

That sounds lovely! I also really enjoy a bluesgrass fiddle :)

He plays many styles and has instructional DVDs. Sounds great! I found some bg back tracks and found bg even with the speedy tempo was kind of easier than blues. Maybe because bg is more like polka, the music the harp was invented for.

Oh that's intersting! I think that the speed is definately challengeing in bluegrass, but I see what you mean with the harp being made for playing more major tunes (which I think is more common in Bluegrass, not sure though).
