So, while you could justly call it cope, I think there are explanations you could use: Tokimitsu - dude has a nerves issue and worsens under pressure. Also, stamina is his golden ticket, and due to the NEL unlimited subs rule it makes that almost useless. Nagi - Obviously he'll be back. Totally plot business. Shidou - I honestly don't think Shidou has lost any of his base skill, it's just that goals are his passion. Sure he can do the other stuff (especially against weaker opponents), but it doesn't satisfy him that much, so why not leave it to those who excel at it professionally and then reap the benefits? I dunno, I also just don't see the skill gap you mentioned. Otoya - I think his off-ball abilities work especially well when others cooperate with him. Unfortunately, the higher in Blue Lock you climb, the more self-centred/independant egos become. Also, the U20s were defence focuses team opposed to Blue Lock, so they would be more mindful of his ninja abilities than those in Blue Lock. But he IS still scoring in the NEL, which makes me suspect the ninja might stay in the shadows of the story until a critical moment in the future. Zantetsu - Yeah... I got barely anything for Zantetsu. I dunno if I'd call him worse so much as absent. Dude just needs to do something. Yukimiya - Simple, he isn't nerfed, he just already got his character focused match in the NEL. Only so much page time to go around (what most of these characters suffer from tbh).

I'm still holding out hope that the two get to be MVPs during the late stages of the game when everyone but them is extremely tired from exerting themselves. Also I don't want to see Tokimitsu go yet. He's actually one of the more relevant character's with no real development and or backstory, just like characters such as Aryu. I dont understand shidous nerf. Maybe this is because he's my favourite character but i thought the whole point of his character initially was that he was too good for blue lock. No one could challenge him in a meaningful way and bring out a chemical reaction for his growth. Its due to his insane performance that he was scouted by friggin itoshi sae himself and we saw when shidou is in the flow state hes capable of performing impossible goals that go beyond his normal shooting range of being in the box. The neo soccer league seemed like the perfect opportunity for him to final have a challenge and develop if anything were to happen (now being faced with and taught by world class strikers). But all of a sudden his performance is way worse than it was in the u20 match and he goes from being the genius who can score from any position in the box to a striker that can ONLY score in the box and it isnt guaranteed. Honestly i just wish he wasnt on the same team as rin because i feel all the focus given to rin on PXG as rightfully the protagonists rival n stuff means that theres no opportunity to explore shidou as a character. Shidou and isagi dont have a relationship or rivalry whatsoever which means in the story thats ultimately from isagi's point of view the focus will always be on people isagi wants to beat. Shidou feels like just an annoyance on the pitch for all the more important strikers and thats painful to see

When you say "Tokimitsu was nerfed by his weapons but Nagi was nerfed by his mental state" i kinda disagree. For me, Tokimitsu's downfall is perfectly logic, he is a player with weapons but absolutely no confidence. That goes against Blue Lock logic and the main point of the show. You are supposed to be better by being absorbed in your own potential, but Tokimitsu just doesn't seem to be able to do that. So yeah, his skills were really good, but he is the embodiment of a "failed genius" described by Ego, someone who doesn't know where his skills come from, who can't improve and doesn't have the mental capability to overcome adversity. For me Tokimitsu was nerfed FROM THE BEGINNING by his mental state. Only if he managed to overcome his fear or using it to develop frustration and see that the frustration could make him go higher, only at this moment he could have improved. But did Tokimitsu really improved during the serie? Nah. So for me it's perfectly logic that he is not doing great right now.

They were more rough with Tokimitsu to be fair when their matching up with him. I still think he is better than Raichi but I think he's more of better nanase then Raichi basing off how rin used him in his fight against isagi before. Nagi just needs to fix his ego/mentality and learn to turn on and off his creativity even if wants to be lazy off game. He can already score constant super/miracle goals with reo or atleast have a skill/talent to pull them off. Shidou was just hard countered by kunigami who is also able to jump and match his physique well. He also has good enough speed to match shidou explosive speed off the ball. Otoya was genuinely nerfed lol. He was basically isagi/naruhaya off the ball movement on steroids, he can get pass probably all defenders without them noticing if he dosent have the ball. For Zantetsu I think he can still comeback if he could use his explosive speed like yukimiya. Yukimiya didn't really fall off, his dribbling actually works and I'd argue that he is a better dribbler than others when it comes to defeating every defender one by one in a row. His shooting just needs some work. Reo didn't fall off that much, I think it was nagi mostly. Reo will soon understand Metavision, work on his copy of rin after seeing destroyer(oh god imagine a copy berserker X sae flow) mode. Reo is insanely versatile tho, he would literally be the best substitution In the world 😂

Lately ive preferred episode nagi way more than the normally bluelock manga. Ik its a lot harder to give characters attention in a 11 v 11 than a 4v4 second selection but like I think the point of bluelock is that everyone is kinda a protagonist, isagi brings this up too in the manshine game i think. But like it’s just been, kaiser isagi kaiser isagi over and over and im like bro why is isagi teleporting across the field when you can just have kunigami or any other player on the field do something more. In my opinion it makes it feel shallow and undeserved when a character is actually given their spotlight such as yukimiya. When yuki scored his goal I just thought anyone could have done that, they’re all supposed to be strikers so yea they can all have goal scoring potential when Isagi feeds them directly. I just don’t like yuki because it feels like he isn’t getting better and he didn’t deserve a ranking as high as he is or was, it felt like they gave him so much screen time just to do nothing and clean up Isagi’s goal, and then bro thinks isagi’s his rival. It’s so funny a majority of this video is about the PXG players and it’s sad to see such a stacked line up of characters where before the PXG game everyone was like “There is no way BM is winning if they do it’s cause of plot” and so far that’s kinda the case the fact that PXG has been winning so far cause they players are insane but now up against the other best team Loki not teaching his TEAM A DAMN THING is really showing here as people on this team are fast as hell and their master is known for his SPEED and I think Kaneshiro might eventually bring it up as Loki really didn’t care about teaching his team anything. So in a way it’s kinda impressive PXG won every game so far after not getting buffed at all from the NEL.

Yuki and kuni should've stayed relevant like how it was foreshadowed at the start of the nel... Instead they touch the ball once or twice a match. The isagi/kaiser show is kinda boring atp, even raichi and kurona shouldve been given more like why is isagi the only one who can defend, could've at least given one of his defensive feat to raichi 🤦🏻‍♂️

bruh tokimitsu should've gone to manshine he would've actually thrived. in a team focused on physique plus with the added bonus of Manshine only having like 3 - 4 good players, he would've stood out a lot and played a bigger role in matches, leading to him getting a higher bid and saving him 😭

Shidou was truly nerfed. He is such a high-level player that a man like Sae recognized. When I knew it was time for Bastard to battle PxG, I questioned myself. How would the former win a match against arguably the strongest NEL team consisting of a demon-thing like Charles, a berserker Rin, and the unpredictable threat that is Shidou!? Now I know, it's because of nerfed Shidou.
