It's so great that I found your reaction! BigBang brought me into the world of K-Pop back in 2009. It's always so nice to meet people who are fans of YG groups and artists just like me. Even in our Russian community, this joke is known about the fact that only YG artists can make musical covers of each other and they will be beautiful. We, fans of YG artists, are often humiliated and insulted, but to be honest, I'm used to it and I don't care now. The more some people hate our artists, the more I love and support them. At first we had the youngest Treasure, and very soon there will be even younger Babymonster. I am waiting for your new reaction ❤

Jan.. we always have similar opinions and even flashbacks to WIN LOL! I was like omggggg now it’s literally 3rd generation YGE artists mentoring and observing BABY MONSTER.. they’ve all been in the same situations and understand the pressure trainees are going through. Yep there is a reason and purpose as to why lines are distributed..it’s not just randomly given you know? The song quality and performance has to be taken to account..there’s a bigger picture when they cover songs more so when they make their own songs in the future. The parts they get is what suits them the best and what sounds good within the group dynamic. Choice was really looking out for Pharita because her throat was swollen. This is for an evaluation and it is a live performance. If she pushes through with the chorus, she might even damage her vocal chords. It’s difficult to change parts, but it’s for the best interest for her and the group. Ahyeon was feeling the pressure and she was not in her best condition either, but she did some subtle stylistic changes and it still sounds good. I can’t really pinpoint how to describe Ahyeon’s vocals, but it’s quite versatile..I didn’t know she can sing a somewhat low tone. It was pretty good! I want to hear more of that from her. I loved what Suhyun said…it is kind of funny because I do feel that Ahyeon can very well be a solo artist because she’s an all-rounder and do everything. She really have STAR power, but she showed in this performance that she is capable to toning down her shine and support her group. Pharita really gives me BOM vibes and just the way she carries herself on stage with this so much calmness, grace, and elegance. Whenever she sings I got goosebumps! Her voice is so pretty and soothing at the same time. I want to give love to Ruka because even though they didn’t show her comments/feedback from YHS and YGE senior artists. I’m sure they gave her good feedback and praise. So we all know Ruka’s English is still a work in progress, but for her to write her rap in English and in the way she rapped is very IMPRESSIVE. From my observations I think she has trouble pronouncing some words that have L, R, and S in it..you see in the ep1 when she asked Pharita to check her pronunciation. But I think for the performance she did pretty good. The lyrics she had trouble on sounded really good. I really liked how she switched up to a fast rap..I really like that “lookin back all of that tik for tat ra-tat-tat petty, I played the fool” part. As always her delivery and stage presence is always cool and strong. I’m sure she will continue improving in speaking/rapping in English in time. I noticed some reactors are worried about it, but I’m like well that’s why there’s Ruka, Asa, and even Ahyeon who can rap. Ruka and Asa are capable of rapping in English, but if they can’t do it cleanly..Ahyeon definitely can do it. BABY MONSTER is a very skilled/talented group..a lot of them are all-rounders/aces and not always in the same areas. I also don’t feel that there is any official positions in this group.. it’s impossible! It also depends on the kind of music they will release in the future. Anyways, Team A really impressed me and they were all very comfortable on that stage. When YHS mentions combination and cohesiveness, I felt RuPhaJjung is strong combination. They’re a very solid foundation to build around tbh. I can’t wait for Team B to perform because my goodness my 2 low tone soulful vocalists is in there and 1/2 of my co-bias line Asa is in there. My bias line is Ruka, Asa, and Haram. 😅❤

Finally someone points out the line distribution! Some people were whining about who’s getting less or getting more! It’s not about that at all, it’s about who can perform it well and make the song perfect! It’s not just going to affect the song but the artists themselves. I already adopted Kim Asa since she remind me of my Kim Bangjeon, Yoshi, who’s my ult bias in Treasure. Speaking Korean well, can write songs, has a fast rapping and of course a softie! My Kim siblings! And most of all, Jennie! I swear I gain more respect to this girl. The way she gave the girls constructive criticism is too powerful and will most definitely impact them on their journey. And also gave me the reason why all YG artist are effective performers, because they care about the audience and not who’s the best!

Love your commentary. If you have to say something more in detail, you pause the video and take the time to explain it instead of trying to talk over the running video possibly getting distracted or missing something. I also liked you comment about treatment. Its so true. We fans are always quick to make wild assumptions and jump to conclusions defending "our" favorites even though we have no idea what led to those descisions behind the scenes and if "our" favorite even has any problems with them. There are thousands of possible reasons why things are the way they are and as long as the idol we feel protective over doesn't clearly voice that she is unhappy with it, we as fans should be very careful about our assumptions. Of course you can always wish for something, but thats different from assuming and feeling offended in the place of somebody else that never indicated any concern. Final word: I feel very protective towards Rora as well. She might be with Ruka my "favorite" but for all of them... of course there is a strong urge to give em a big ol hug making sure they re ok and that they understand how amazing they are. 😂 YG knows exactly what they're doing with their marketing strategy

Excellent point on line distribution is because of fandom bias. Another topic is role distribution. Main, lead or sub. There is no main, lead or sub on the YG profile for Blackpink. BUT!! fandom will create their own analysis and say Main Rapper is Jennie, Main Dancer is Lisa. There is nothing on YG profile but these guides will categorized them. It's so frustrating same with the line distribution.
