So awful. I have been wondering how you have been. With this new Irma coming in, the news has stopped talking about Houston. So sorry about your videos. I hope you have pictures backed up somewhere. Our material stuff is hard to get rid of. But sometimes we have no other choice. Good luck to you.

Frankie Tortonesi, Dido. So sorry for this catastraphy. Thank you so much for sharing your expirians. So good to see the Water is gone and that you are to proceed with your life without government interference. (I'm glad to have been wrong). Congratulation on your attitude. Has Commerce returned to Houston?: Are the Stores restocked and open?, Gas avalible?, Do most neighborhoods have power and running water? Is FEMA being a positive force?

had to help earlier someone here in canada. The MAJOR thing people need to know is when flooding is out. It is imperative that everything soaked must be taken out as soon as possible to prevent mold damage and more health related issues. (and scrap everthing that got flooded, except if it is ''waterproof'' and washable

The biggest thing my family feared when we lost our house to tropical storm lee in 2011, was looters. My neighborhood wasn’t the nicest and we knew that so once the water receded we took a camper slept in the driveway and took turns monitoring the neighbors houses and ours. Some sketchy man and I’m glad you were able to overcome this.

Just watched all three videos, and am left with some thoughts. Through your videos I really got an understanding of the extent of flooding. I mean: yes I've watched the news, but I'm in Denmark (as in Europe), so it hasn't been in depth (no pun intended). Seeing you wading in to look at your home, hearing the eerie silence, seeing the devastation, it brought it to the forefront again. So thank you for sharing this. I hope you dry out quickly, and that putting the pieces back together happens smoothly for you. Much love from Denmark.

Sorry for your loss. Especially the book when u were young when your father passed it broke my heart to see that destroyed as it meant do much to u. During the time of harvey. Not by destruction i had to give all my stuff away or throe it away except a few items i treasured. Job loss n aptment loss as i moved to louisiana from new york. The stuff hurt that i threw away but it can be replaced. I took only pictures that matter to me. I threw out tons of photos. I wish i was there helping u clean. In so sorry for your property loss. Yes wear masks u dont want spores in your lungs from the mold. Glad u had a friend to help u.

Paige Davis Houston has a bayou system that feed out to different rivers. The street storm sewers drain out to the bayou but problems happen when the system gets backed up. Mainly storm sewers but there is potentially the chance of bayous or rivers cresting. In his case it was a controlled release of the damn that was at capacity so they had to release to save the levy. In my case the street flooded but not the house. But the sewer system got backed up towards the end and we had a nasty little mess but good thing we were there and aware of it so we prevent it from being worse.
@Poshhspice_7 жыл бұрын
theBradyRay I’m happy for your family that the damage isn’t worse! Thank you for explaining that to me. I am from Tennessee and we don’t worry about flooding where I am at so I had never been educated on it.
@theBradyRay7 жыл бұрын
Paige Davis thank you. Tennessee is a very beautiful place with mountains and hills. If you ever been to Texas you notice the interstate system is different that loops that tower in the sky because places like houston are so flat. There is a slight gradient and all the water eventually drains back out to the ocean.
@Poshhspice_7 жыл бұрын
