I've done the same... Mine start a lil' further back tho... far enough back where I've had 4months of goin threw coins & not quite done yet, LMAO😂 but I've always been kinda different with certin things... im pretty sure I'm being "WAAAYY" to meticulous with my sorting... goodness... But... we don't really know forsure until we have them graded... I'm waiting for my "very 1st submits" to be returned from pcgs... Good luck with urs...

I've got 10 years of change on my dresser, lol, that's all that is on there , except one video magnifier, I've checked about 200 coins and no double die ,a few clash errors. 😊

Is there any truth about missing mint marks on Lincoln cents? 64-65-72 ? As I have them in UNC fr at a minimum 65 great chance they could grade 68 pl

The future of the coin market is the more modern coins! From the 50's 60's 70's 80's and 90's ! Its a little long term as far as value but this video tells me my gut instinct is right! When i roll hunt i keep every coin i find that is in outstanding condition no matter what the date. I keep them separate for the future! Thank you for your video's!

I collect coins that i find interesting, yes i have some silver coins, but i have a lot of coins most people wouldn't generally keep for their collection. I save every bicentennial quarter or half dollar I run across. Another one of my projects is to have one Lincoln penny from every year don't really care what mint they come from and I'm trying to only have really nice examples upgrading when i find a better example. I currently have every one from 1938-2024. Working on the rest, pretty sure there will be quite a few I will never find. It's all good I just really enjoy the hobby.

Yeah Mr Bluer Ridge, insane coin prices, well, I'd like to find one or two coins like those too, as you were saying, its almost too painful listening to this episode. 🤔 anyway, i would like to ask if you can give your opinion about the coin i got. I believe its the real thing, i have been comparing the dye marks as well on the coin.., and i have coins from Philadelphia and Denver as well that i compare it with. Its a 1975 Roosevelt dime no S mint mark... but its been in my collection for more than 30 years already.

I recommend you go to the 'Live Coin Q & A' channel, then follow their instructions on how to submit photos of your coin to ask their opinion on it. This channel host is on the panel of that channel, so that is the fastest way to get him and the other panel members to take a look at your coin and let you know if it looks like you have the rare one. I hope you do have the dime worth a small fortune! If you have it in a proof set, then there is a good chance you have the rare one. It's important to know that there are many found in circulation with no mint mark - but they were minted in Philidelphia where they did not use a mint mark at that time. Those dimes are not rare and are not worth more than ten cents. I hope you have the rare one though - that would be so awesome!

I still have a hard time trying to understand how those newer dated coins can sell for the amount they do! Can't those "Deep pocket" people just spend a few hundred at the Mint by buying themselves a few Uncirculated Coin Sets, for the year they're needing! They might just end up finging a MS70! Those pennies were definitely someone's collection. Maybe they needed the money or the owner passed away. I told my wife when I'm gone send all my graded coins to great collections.

Been collecting Jefferson nickels in good grades, but not the ultra high grades, Don't really notice strike difference at the ultra high grades. But lower grades alot more affordable.

I have some many high BU’s no carbon no scratches absolutely perfect just not graded I don’t have 1995 ddo but do have a near perfect one raw so many I talk to will not collect modern coins After 1983 I collect everything especially if their spot free

BlueRidgeSilverhound just wanna say my favorite!! I give you a grade of MS 69+ Please do me a favor 👍🏻help me out. I particularly look at PCGS grading guidelines. Some of these slabbed Lincoln’s grades of MS 68 MS 69 I see marks on the obverse and reverse and very important the Edge. Mark my words first thing I look for example, a Lincoln memorial cent and the edge has no bag marks or dents . Remember the edge is also referring to the collar, the rim, etc., Good fined;you got one good thing going for you; Then you need a good “strike” look for marks in the main focal areas ‘s. Of the Device’s the cheek of Lincoln forehead jacket, the field of the coin is where your luster and strong cartwheel reflections, Hopefully you can find some also have limited scratches, marks, corrosion, carbon spots, etc.. Sorry for the bad grammar it’s late. I’m tired.

I have some that I graded through coin snap that graded mint state plus but I can't sell anything without a grade that is official. I don't know how much pcgs charges or if it's worth it but I have a lot of coins that need to be graded as well as a huge collection including notes

It requires sending in 100-500-1000 of a single date and series to achieve top grade. Sending a handful of mixed dates and expecting results like these realized auction sales is unrealistic. Just enjoy the hobby and be humble about your collection.

What is the value on the 1997 penny? This hobby is so confusing. Is it just because of the condition? At what point would someone find a 1997 penny and say I want to get this graded?

It's all about condition. It has to be almost flawless. No scratches or dings or spotting. It is extremely hard to find and get the grades. Grading services are a racket. People blow their life savings on grading, hoping to catch lightning in a bottle.

Great to look at those prices, but 99.9% of us would NEVER PAY 99.9% of those prices! Just to put it into everyone's mind, just how much would a Lincoln cent set cost if you lowered your sights to a MS63 RED/BROWN to a MS66 RED cent set with all the key dates and semi keys in the lower grades? Anyone have a guess?
