Not sure why you gotta cuss. Personally I tell kids not to cuss because when you grow up, you won't be able to stop cussing, and constant cussers are trash.
@marbinmusic2 ай бұрын
One could argue that a person that goes on a stranger’s video to learn guitar for free and then proceeds to call him trash, is behaving in a less polite way than someone who uses a cuss word here and there.
@HarlanHarvey762 ай бұрын
@@rijancaffe if you're going to tell my kid that a person is trash, I hope my kids would say, "wow dude, you're an asshole" IMHO, no human being is trash. Teaching a child that certain language is trash vs teaching them that certain people are trash are two very different lessons. I would rather be around a planet of foul mouthed people than I would a planet full of judgmental pricks. No offense intended

yk man, i have not seen like anybody explain blues like this, makes total sense n u didn’t need to make an extremely long video, not sure if i’m being a spinner but i feel like this also implies how u can mix major and minor a little bit too, this blew my mind. wish there were more musician youtubers like u bc i am broke asf n cannot afford guitar courses all of which for the most part r poorly made. been playing for almost 2 years n deadset all the help i need to continue improving is to watch some of your vids from time to time, nothing to stress abt no need to overthink, thank you so much ur a legend❤

@marbinmusic2 ай бұрын
Yes, the plagal diminished walk-up lessons are breakdowns of each of the variations on this subject. There are still a couple of lessons left in the series that will be posted with tabs in the next couple of days. That's a good point though. I'll make the labeling on Patreon more clear.

Watching this video after the first 3 years of Berklee in 20 minutes video, I'm just thinking the scale choices over a chord is idiomatic to the genre or the music culture, no set of rules is universal, if you think in a different mode than diatonic major or minor, all your chord choices and scale choices change.

More golden nuggies of truth thanks, but your fingers are too long so if you do stretchy chords I feel inadequate. If you keep doing that I’ll have find another teacher. Ps love the swearing!
