Although most people would probably keep this track slow and steady, during the guitar solo I kind of make it more loud and sort of a sad yet angry sound. Sort of like Led Zeppelin’s “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” but without completely destroying my ride cymbal.

This is a great idea for a channel and I apperciate the tracks .You are helping loads of people groove and feel while playing along to these tracks. Here’s my pattern for the song: .. .= .. .=... .= and it just loops. = (snare) . (bass drum) Keep your hi hat/ride/Tom/cowbell or whatever going with the click. It seems to groove well.

Great track but sorry to say this, this TRACK is NOT a 6/8 time signature. This track is in fact a 12/8 which is written as per the chord progression with four beats to every measure. If you follow the melody, 12 1/8 notes over 4 1/4 notes per measure, it is a slow the blues. The common mistake made by many is they write it has a 6/8 which is traditionally a marching rhythm, which of course is a sea shanty.
