Great......g Guitarversum Can't wait to get this one under my fingers. With that said, you appear to have lost a few more pounds and have glow about. Whatever you're doing, don't change a thing.

Walking bass sounds so cool. I always avoided to learn it, bc it looks intimitading. But I think I'll give it a try this time.

Beautiful guitar. I have a Gibson 335, Epiphone 335 and Gibson Custom Shop 355 and that cherry sunburst is so nice. It reminds me of my 69 ES-125 TDC. Love your lessons although it is often a bit over my head. Never too old to learn though.

The color is so cool, right? Make sure to check out the jazz chords first. I have 2 videos on that in my chords and comping playlist. Chords are key to everything!

Great lessons! I hope you didn’t get rid of your old standby the Howard Roberts Model; I read that Larry Carlton retired his famous 335 from gigging and is now using his Sire signature model for performances. He keeps the old faithful at home.
@GuitarversumSandraSherman2 жыл бұрын
No, the Howard Robert's is still my favorite. But this one's quite a joy to play too.

Hi Sandra, first of all I really like your lessons! Second I was searching for a lesson on 'Elaeudanla téitéia' by Serge Gainsbourg but couldn't find a decent one. Would it be possible for you to make a lesson on it? Thanks in advance! Greetings from Belgium!
@GuitarversumSandraSherman2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words, Remo. Not so sure about the song. Never heard of it. I need to make sure enough people will watch a the video.

I think I'm the only one here not coming from a blues background, lol. I prefer this major blues over the traditional or jazz blues. It sounds so much frescher to me.

Guitarversum Speaking of starter packs: How about a gypsy jazz starter pack, uh?
@GuitarversumSandraSherman2 жыл бұрын
I don't have enough videos to do a starter pack, but good idea. Maybe I should do some more gypsy videos. It's just that I'm not a super specialist in that genre and the videos are harder to record. The gypsy guitar is so loud, it always bleeds into the vocal mix. Really hard to tame and compress the peaks.
