I visited Victoria, B C., and they had buskers everywhere. I talked to one of the buskers, and gave him $20 since he looked down on his luck. He found out that I played guitar, so he asked me to sit in his spot and play, which I did, lol. So I have busked once in my life. What I thought strange was how the majority of people ignored the buskers, and I literally sat mesmerized for hours listening to them, even though I am a musician. I couldn't understand how most people could just walk past and ignore it.

For the life of me, I don’t understand why people walk past with complete indifference to music like this. A couple of young guys on the street, with minimal equipment, demonstrating a command of the music and their instruments that they shouldn’t have for at least another twenty years. These men are not just professionals, but they have a great feel for the blues. Nothing is rushed or over played, it’s just good blues played well. Free to listen to, on the street ! Impressive guys, and I love the guitarists hat and his guitar. The harmonica playing is superb too. Love it. I would have been compelled to buy a CD and throw an extra $50 in the case. I think it’s important to encourage talent when you hear it. Australia.

You Gotta Move. Rev Gary Davis. Brings back memories. I took him round in a tour in the 60's all around the UK as his "lead boy". He was blind and Brilliant. Played most of the day. Good guitar Markus and good harp guest. Great tune. 👍

Looping those vocals near the end (on the fly) was a thing of beauty. It's not easy to collaborate in this fashion, especially when the other person doesn't know how to step back and play fills when not featured. You have this ability to make anyone you play with sound good. Oh, and the slide work just keeps getting better.

Spot on, two ACES, some serious tone[s] from you two. Thanks for sharing this, you're inspiring me. I practice/perform nearly daily in a local park, acoustically, playing harps against a variety of backing tracks. I love jazz/blues, swing, funk, bossa nova and more. I typically link my phone/KZbin backing tracks to a Bluetooth speaker. I am w/o my phone for a few days while I wait for its new battery. I decided it was time to break out my Roland Micro Cube, a mic and my CD "diskman" to reacquaint myself with amplified playing. Off I went to the park's gazebo with my gear. After some adjustments to the amp, I begn to cut loose. Wow, it was like running into a long lost friend in a foreign country! I think my past three years or so of my practicing exclusively acoustic playing was worth it. Still, it took me a few minutes to begin to get the effects I wanted through cupping/wah gestures. I do like the bluetooth speaker a lot, it's a much lighter setup, but the amp and mic do allow for a bit more tone sculpting. Thanks again for sharing, you two make great, soulful music, just right.
