The crowd clapping over a guitar solo - something only a German would do. The German will clap at any given opportunity. There is something about clapping that makes the German very happy. The feeling the German gets out of clapping is so strong even, that the German will go ahead and ruin an emotional, beautiful piece of live music just to clap their hands.
