He is truly one of, if not the best harmonica musicians the world will ever see.

John Popper is to the harmonica as Jimi Hendrix is to the guitar as Charlie Daniels is to the fiddle.

When you’ve mastered your instrument 10 times over! The whole band is superb 👍🏻

Doddamn I’ve never in my day heard a harmonica made me start headbangin dude you are a freaking god! And a mother lovin’ rockstar I nominate these guys for the hall of fame just for the original sound and true appreciation for music and what it does for the soul. If I ever write a song that can make others feel the way I do in my spine listening to this I’ll die happy and satisfied

I've read that John Popper is top ten, like 5 or 6 greatest harmonica players of all time
@versatilejams Жыл бұрын
Probably too two. Or one. His solos are just hard to beat.
@alana9832 Жыл бұрын
Depends who you ask.Totally unique in his solos especially in his seemingly effortless use of the high notes that other harp players never incorporate into their solos!
@MicrowaveWalrus Жыл бұрын
i've never even heard anyone else playing the chromatic harp. surely nobody even in the same league as popper. please enlighten me, the next tier of harmonica players i know is like... bob dylan? there are places on the 'four' album where i can't tell if it's a harmonica playing or a guitar!

"But Anyway" I lied and told her I loved her, She didn't care, but anyway I told her we'd still be friends, And she didn't care, but anyway I tried last week for to call her, She wasn't home, but anyway I think I'll spend my life alone, I really don't care right now, but anyway It's a state of affairs and a state of emotions The kind of thing that you must understand I tell you one thing; you tell me another We walk away, maybe then shake hands I'm quitting cigarette smoking It's bad for me, but anyway I don't think the TV was joking When it told me this, but anyway The newsman said not to sit on strange toilet seats It's my life he's trying to save, but anyway I found out that I've got eye cancer Too many television waves, but anyway It's a state of affairs and a state of emotions The kind of thing that you must understand I tell you one thing; you tell me another We walk away, maybe then shake hands Some day an answer will find us Quite a long shot, but anyway I think the past, the past is behind us Be real confusing if not, but anyway I put all my hope in tomorrow It's gonna be great, I can tell but anyway I see a new, a new day a dawning I like to sleep late, oh well, but anyway It's a state of affairs and a state of emotions The kind of thing that you must understand I tell you one thing; you tell me another We walk away, maybe then shake hands
