Still love Samantha. But this was her best " look". The long Blond curls hair Down to her shoulders. The long black lace sleeve shirt, short black dress. She can write and play with anybody. Her bass player in these days was used to be Tommy Castro's!? Tab Benoit is just a ultra cool Swamp water cat and player. I' d like to see these three again on any stage anywhere anytime PLEASE ❤

Saw Tab, Sonny Landreth and Samantha jam to close Jazzfest at Rock and Bowl a few years back. It was the most amazing jam I've ever seen. Talked with Samantha after, very personable, yet humble. Will never forget that show.

Thanks for posting this. I really enjoyed it. Apart from Tommy C.'s solo being (unusually) fiddly and widdly, I really liked what he played later, and I really liked Samantha Fish's and Tab Benoit's solos, too. Terence Higgins' playing was great, and I would like to have heard Corey Duplechin's bass more clearly.

Shane - that's the problem with the Downunders. Too small a population and too far away. Had the good fortune tom see Larkin Poe a few weeks ago and sadly missed Samantha Fish. I've promised myself to go on a Blues Cruise or do the Blues circuit in the US/Canada. We have Byron bay but that's about all.

Great stuff. I used to go see Tommy Castro in the Bay Area back in the mid 90s and saw Tab on tour for his first album in Colorado Springs, it was an incredible show. I've had the good fortune to see both of them many times since, but not together. Thanks for Sharing! When will you make it back up to the Rhythm Room in Phoenix?

Not to take anything away from Tab's excellent talent but I liked Samatha's intense smooth blues guitar solo the best. I don't care for Castro's style of playing. He may be a good blues man but his style is too rough for me to handle
