It’s such a bitter sweet playlist because the blues can bring such sad feelings but these blues let me know that everything will be ok. Reminds me of a rainy night in Vancouver. Driving by patio coffee shops and bars, the puddles shimmering with neon brightness, an old man pushing a shopping cart across Davie street. Life, on the instalment plan. Cops gathered in an empty parking lot passing a bottle around and playing with a stray dog. A girl with long dark hair sits at a bus stop and smokes, checking her watch every few seconds, every few seconds forever.
