My question. Nano vs the 3 yr old node: bypassing the internal dac and using as a streamer>> into an outboard DAC. What sound difference if any???

Hello PBeadle, thanks - this is a tough one to answer, as we're not sure which DAC you would run the output of your Node into. Even if which DAC is known, you'd really have to A / B test them in the same system to give a good answer

Hello 440, yes, technology marches forward fast! At CEDIA we saw TV's from the major vendors that clearly surpassed last year's TV's. We're happy that Bluesound has not one, but 3 new replacement products depending on your budget.

So you’d like technology to stop advancing? No increases in performance or improvements in features? Nothing is being taken away from you by this new model existing. The one you have still does everything as promised when you bought it. The last node model was released in 2021; A three year product refresh cycle is not at all unreasonable

Hello Abdo, thank you for your comment. Only in a direct comparison might one be able to say that one product sounds better than another, and as Icon hasn't shipped yet, that's not possible. We're really excited for Icon when it arrives. Nano is in stock now, Node 132 will be in a few weeks
