I'm from Poland. My mother likes this song. This voice. She died 3 years ago. Few weeks ago i spend time with my 10 years daughter and I talk about her Grandmother and I play that song. And I was start crying like a baby. My daughter was very sad, becouse she can't understand why. I have 41 years old. I dont have father and mother anymore. When are ours parents, we dont appreciate Them. But when they are gone, we realize what we have lost. Let's love our parents and respecte them. PS. Sorry for my english. God bless You.

I listening to this song from Tokyo Japan. My father and i love this song. My father doesn't know him true mother and even her face and name. Moreover, Grand father and my father's first foster mother ware divorced of him childhood. So my father lost two mothers. Dear True mother, We hope you alive now. Uudam has one of the most pure and beautiful souls I have ever witnessed ! The year after the death of his Mother he had joined a choir ( Mongolian childrens choir) and he won the prize money for this song. He used the money to help his family . He bought his Dad a telescope , his sister something ( forgive me for forgetting) and the rest of the money went to his village. The following year he lost his Dad . I love you Uudam ! One of my favorite songs, it really touches my heart everytime I listen to it my husband is from the same place as him, Hulunbuir, so I had heard the song before Uudam performed it on China's got talent, but he's version is just beyond amazing, he has the most beautiful voice a boy can have, and he's story is just heartbreaking.. Well, this is the song about mothers. In olden days (when mongolia was communist), when kids grew older, some of them went to the city for college. So mother missed her son every day (longing to see her beloved loving son), she would be sitting outside of her ger after her daily chores done and waiting for her son come home. On the other hand, the son who was in college in the city also missing his mother and picturing (describing) what exactly his mother who missed him so much would be doing for him to come home. He couldn't go home because he was in the city going college or doing whatever to make proud of his mother. Something like that. This song is very touching and makes my eyes water.

What a novel idea. A young mongol boy who loves his mother; his parents. He sings a beautiful song for her, has respect for her, and we here in the West are very moved. What are we doing here in the West so wrong when teaching our kids? This kid is a wonderful kid and I hope that his voice will have many people appreciate his culture and traditions.
