There's things you didn't mention about Week 5. One : Phantom Arcade implied that the mall Santa is looking at the Mom's chest. He didn't say it clearly, but he took the sprite of the Santa, putted a lot closer the Week 5 Mom sprite and added "Why do you think it's called Friday Night "Funkin'" ?" Which is one more reason why Daddy Dearest is pointing a gunpoint at Santa. Two : It's also canon that Lemon Demon has the power to alter the people's perception of reality. Which means this creepy mall, with blood and a creepy Girlfriend face on the tree, isn't actually real. And a little theory that I made : Lemon Demon works for the parents. Let's see when he appears. On Week 2 when THE PARENTS trick Boyfriend and Girlfriend in their Mansion. I know Lemon Demon also threatens GF, but the parents don't worry about that. Because since she's invincible and that she's already been sent into a video game and thrown off a plane with BF, the parents can also send Lemon Demon and she won't be in danger. Plus BF and GF are in the parents' mansion. So this place belongs to them, and who do we see in it ? Well Lemon Demon. Also in Week 5, Lemon Demon appears right after defeating the parents. Coincidence ? I think not ! The parents are the one who tell him to attack Boyfriend.

Pico's being BF ex as canon lore is just amazing lol. Tbh, if they went back to deconfirm it, the lore wouldn't make sense. In the original Pico's school, you have the option to kill Nene, a girl that is completely unrelated to the school shooting, and is supposedly Pico's friend. So we know Pico can be cold hearted and kill his friends if he needs to.That's why, if there's not that extra emotional connection there, Pico would just kill BF and be done with it. So right now, it makes sense that Pico has a soft spot for his middle school ex and wants to protect him from the Dad, so BF and GF can be happy. It's just so wholesome. I think the Dad being angry with Pico leads into the "playable Pico" weeks, and that's gonna be dope as hell.

I feel like if HS had a crossover with this game, besides the cameo in the mall, it would be with a speaking character. My idea is Right Hand Man, given the ludicrous amount of songs in the Stickmin series with Toppat leitmotifs and the airship being crossed over into Among Us, but I won’t mind if they ever do officially do it with Henry. The only detail I’d really like to see is the retry screen being a FAIL screen.
