I get so very annoyed at the ?writers, ?authors ? presenters of the garbled stories. Inconsisrencies, glaring faults in relationships, event sequences as well as grammar and spelling. I understand about variances in culture but having taken language courses I know they thoroughly address matters of gender, relationships, etc. Do some proofreading at the very least!
